LIFE HACKS · Nonprofit
Practical preparation for life beyond the classroom.
LIFE HACKS is a life-skills programme backed by science, shaped with students and designed for sixth-form students aged 16–18.
Young people aged 16–18 preparing for greater independence.
School leaders, parents, funders and programme partners.
Why the programme exists
Academic study is only one part of preparing for adult life. Students also need space to practise decision-making, communication, personal organisation and the everyday skills that help them navigate work, relationships and independence.
LIFE HACKS combines evidence-led programme design with direct student input. Students are not treated as passive recipients; their experience helps shape what is taught and how it is delivered.
My contribution
I’m supporting the programme as a technology and product collaborator. My focus is on how the programme’s information, learning materials and digital experience can be structured clearly for students, schools, parents, funders and delivery partners.
Programme principles
Young people help define relevant problems and useful ways to learn.
The goal is confidence and capability beyond the lesson itself.
